As an avid birder, I enjoy writing and talking about birds, as well! For this program at the Hope Public Library, I will read poems (my own and others’) that feature birds, with a focus on birds that we might see around us right here in Midcoast Maine. Because I can’t help myself, I will also share some natural history tidbits about the various birds. Hopefully the program will take flight, as it were, and be both uplifting and informative.
