foraging robins
the garden gnome
has cracked in half
spring snow
roar of the wind
roar of the river
snowdrops
spring rain
pussy willows heavy
with anticipation
spring rain
a dove calling
somewhere close
spring equinox
a trout realigns itself
with the current
pink strata
of sunset clouds
astronauts return to earth
morning sky
a stick takes a crow
to its nest
whereas clause
snow melt reveals
the green of moss
meltwater rising a flock of grackles
fingerless gloves . . .
the first woolly bear
inches out of last year’s leaves
