laundry day a crow’s one white feather

left for the crows
all-day snow

around the perched hawk

somewhere upriver
a chorus of crows
snow settles
on the wood duck’s back
early dusk
one crow on watch
while two feed
fresh snow
a serious case
of the munchies
winter robins
American Robins decimate the remaining multiflora rose hips. This time of year flocks of robins roam around looking for whatever fruits and berries they can find to get through these last months of winter.
