November rain
suddenly noticing
winterberries
a window
without its bird feeder
yellow leaf dawn
Halloween twilight
crows materialize
by the back window
farmstand ginko
the heft
of a ripe pumpkin
* a ginko is a group haiku outing
fall sumacs
from dawn to dusk
a rooster crows
moonrise
a leafless tree fills
with crows
yellow leaves . . .
one crow keeping watch
for two others
at large
the sharp reports
of falling acorns
witch hazel flowering . . .
a crow calls in
another crow
flagging light
fallen leaves hide
the welcome mat
a ticket stub
in an old coat pocket
another autumn
