winter mist
delicate flies drift
into a window
a haze in the air
from a hatch of midges . . .
first phoebe
a grass-green lacewing
on the torn screen window
storm light
afternoon rush hour
a gull flock hawks a hatch
of flying ants
a haze of gnats
caught by late sunlight
spring sky
Mars landing
a stink bug explores
my desktop
(Actually it was a Western Conifer Seed Bug, but it looks like a stink bug)
open door policy
a stink bug drops by
my office
low point
a small black bug crawls
down the beer aisle
summer rituals
a deer fly circles my head
seven times
palmetto moon
a big bug scuttles
back down the drain
