Happy Thanksgiving!
November rain
our elderly neighbor goes off
in an ambulance
no snow yet . . .
our new amaryllis
clashes with the mums
early dusk
a flock of leaves swirls
and settles
yellow leaves
the crow comes closer
than yesterday
night wind . . .
the untethered star
a passing plane
shivering oak leaves . . .
a few pairs of wood ducks
forage for acorns
fading light
two ducks in the river
become rocks
new moon wandering a field of stars
frost lingers
in the pine’s shadow . . .
blackberry canes
