rain clouds . . .
a flowering magnolia
holds its own
spring sun . . .
on the trail I startle
a sleeping woman
a deep breath of spring pulmonaria
within the song of the bluebird the river
all-day rain
washing dirt
from the daffodils
false hellebore’s new leaves another toxic relationship
an old longing
stirs in my veins . . .
bloodroot
spring breeze the deer picking up my scent
hold that thought trout lilies
April showers
a flock of swallows
blooms over the lake
nautical twilight
a house on the mainland
the first star
